Where have I been???????????? ( my "a" key is not working so please bare with tht, thnx)

I guess that would be question people who read my blog be asking me. Anyway I have been here only just too much busy with job & house work, dint get enough time to update my blog. On top of that dad is like “don’t use net from home, do all your net related work from office, you have access there”, that’s because telephone bill would rise. Net is bit costly here. Anyway let me just put down what I have been up to these days, umm….. ….where to start from no clue.

Well anyway, September 15th & 16th I went to this conference on India’s Retail Industry, it was called India Retail Forum -2005. All the top notch business tycoons & businessman of various companies were there, got to listen to them got to meet them (very few, as there are inaccessible by unknown people). I had really nice time there place were it was held was amazingly beautiful. Although conference was held in hall, break fast, lunch & dinner & tea break was held near lake. So after heavy talk & debate nice relaxing moment near lake was good.

Once discussion was going on about food retailing, so at end of it floor is opened for public questions. So this one guy raised his hand and microphone went to him and he ask his question to this Mr. Modi he is running stores called 24*7 or something like that. India stores are not allowed to be open up to late night, they are supposed to be closed at around 11 I think. So Mr. Modi runs stores which are open 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. So his question (dude) “Mr. Modi are you planning to open a store in Rajkot”. Mr. Modi says “not currently at this moment”, dude says “because Mr. Kishore Biyani (India’s Sam Walton, India’s wal mart) is planning to do so. Mr. Modi’s reply “well but as per our strategy we are first targeting Delhi & Mumbai and then other cities”, dude could keep quit after wasting time by asking very stupid question again he says “But Pantaloon (Mr. Biyani’s company) is planning to open store with size of 100,000 sq ft. audience was frustrated what the heck is wrong with this dude cant he hear Mr Modi saying NO NO NOT RIGHT NOW DUDE. Anyway then he dint say anything and moved on but he wasted time where other would have asked some question. Now that’s life, in life you will always meet some dude like this, who attend these kind of conference to merely make feel other their presences.

What else ummmmm………..???????/ Damn I don’t remember many things, actually I can but I thought I would talk about it in end. Anyway I meet this really cute girl, there were many hot girls around but this one I thought was kind of for me :D, hehehe.
Ya man at the entrance of gate they kept 2 really HOT CHICKS dressed in white dress my god they were HOT like lava coming out of volcano, but I have burnt my fingers so I knew these hot chicks looks good only there, they would neither go out with me on date nor would I be able to entertain. So she was working in hotel where conference was being held so she was around the whole time, so I bumped into here quiet few time mostly during lunch, dinner tea break or morning break fast time. She has nice smile on her face. I meet her first on 15th sept during our lunch time when she was handing out plates to people. So I took plate from her, smile at her gave a bit kind of flirty look and moved on she just smiled back again. Then after lunch back to conference and then again for tea break and there she was again and I saw here again, I smile and so did she. Am I reading too much in that smile, because that part of her job I guess, to smile at guest and she was exactly doing that. Hmmmm….anyway I had senior colleague of my office with me so I really could not talk to her much or else I would be leaving bad impression on him, since my company had paid 15,000 bucks for conference so that I can attend. So I dint want any bad impression to be formed on his mind about me. So I waited for evening.
And evening was one heck of a party my my, damn cool, it was cocktail party, all possible drinks were lined up, dj was playing cool music (my senior had left by then). Foreign chicks (white skin, I m not being racist people) were serving drinks and cigar. I was like ok let’s enjoy it too, so I took up beer and I was searching for something to eat, but every waiter I could see was carrying non-veg food. So I was searching for veggie item and then from no where there she comes with plate in her hand and something in it last piece, so I call her up and ask if that thing is veg she says yes sir it is surely, I was like finally and I am like where are you, I have been searching like hell and she is like there are 3 more people around serving veg food, I said well I only found you till now and back she goes.

Sept 16’05 I met her again, I just entered hotel and she was standing there welcoming guest. At first I dint notice her because I was in bit hurry, then suddenly I notice someone was looking at me and smiling, I look back and it was her, I smile back at her and she does the same, then back to business attending conference. Then lunch time and she was again there distributing plates, I took plate from her hand said my my these hotel guys make u work like 24hr or what? She said ya kind of and I moved on can’t stay long since queue was long also my senior was there. After lunch tea-break and I saw her again, my senior said lets have tea and then I will leave and see you back t 8, I was like really cool, now I would finally get chance to talk to her. We had tea & ate something and then finally he left so I went him till get and came back and what do I see, she was not there, dmn, I waited for her there for but 25-30mins but no sign of her L. Then I went to hotel gate I had to go to other hotel for award ceremony, something told me lets take one more chance and I came back inside hotel in hope I would see her, but seems destiny was not with me and there was no sign of her L. That’s life.

Everybody in my company hates our boss, so finally one day nobody cud take it and grapevines was round office that well the him and already 4 senior people had resigned, so our super boss , that is boss of boss changed the structure and we have now new boss to report to, who is one of amongst us. So everybody is happy now.
Then suddenly one day my former boss comes and tells me abut one ppt (presentation) which I have been making, I was like what he got to do with that????. And then I enquire with him and get tht he hs been asked by this association to give presentation on tht industry which I hve been trcking nd mking smll ppt. So tht fucker wnted to use my ppt. Ok so he took it nd mde some chnges here & there , he tried to improve it bit, he did mke some nice chnges but rest all were bd cosmetic chnges which I cud hve improved lot more then he did. Then in eveing at around 4.30pm he ask me r u free? I ws like y kind of, he says then come with me join me for tht presentation I ws like wow thts nice u use my presentation don’t put my nme on it nor do u thank nd ask me to join, I sid well lets go nd see how does he perform there. He ws okok while giving the presentation.
Now fter tht dy I go to him nd tell him I wanted to improve that ppt and release it to generl public like we do with ll our report. He says “u know how much hard I hve worked for it, I did this & tht , I did this & tht” fucker did hrdly ny smll chnges nd keeps braging tht he did lots of work when there were 55 slides which I mde nd he dded some 2-3 slides nd changed wording here & there nd mde changed the colour of grphs here & there nd he sys he hs put on more effort then me in mking tht ppt , I cnt digest tht, I just smiled nd went bck. Those words which my ex-boss said “I worked soo much on this” kept repeting my mind I ws just tken bck, he dint even thnked me once of it nd sys he worked hrd for it how cn he do tht??? I spoke to couple of ppl around in deprtment nd then to our new boss nd we hve decided mke ppt however u wnt then we will release it nd put your nme in it , simple done deal :).
